A love for mountaineering is marked by passion and safety. People, their mental approach, and the equipment used are major contributing factors in this love. The mountain offers so much pleasure to those who love mountaineering. To get the best out of it, mountain climbers work to achieve a full and perfect harmony with their physical, mental, emotional and technical abilities. Sharing abilities, thoughts and emotions with friends while climbing is what brings so much joy to the activity.
It's a real resource and my own heritage. Throughout my 27 year career as a mountaineer, I continually improve my abilities and my way of confronting the mountain. In partnership with friends who love mountaineering as I do, I want to share my passion and the lessons I have learned about mountaineering during my career. High Mountain University was created out of this passion.
