In this course, the basic secrets to get good mountaineering results at any level will be discussed. Those secrets are training and a correct diet. I succeeded as a 50 year old mountaineer athlete in climbing the eight-thousanders without supplemental oxygen. This was possible due to careful physical training and a correct diet. To trek or climb under safety conditions, The mix of strength, resistance and agility are needed to trek or climb safely. It is even possible for those who are not accomplished athletes. The only thing needed is consistent training and proper diet. In this course, I will share my training schedule, but also the adjustments I made to my training regimen to compensate for my age.
Diet is one of my "secrets". I always try to keep the right balance when I eat and drink. When I get close to an expedition I follow the zone dietn expedition I follow the Dto keep the right balance tell you the changes in my way of training hanks to a careful physical tra, a very simple diet philosophy, that is easy to follow when you are travelling.
This course will consist of classroom work and practical training.
