One of the main objectives of High Mountain University is to share with the experience I gained through my many expeditions around the world with all participants. All classes including the more "theoretical" ones will have a "hands on" approach. For this reason we chose Alagna as the headquarters and main center for High Mountain University.
Students will have access to adequate educational materials enabling them to delve into each subject thoroughly. Each class will have a limitd number of participants which will ensure as much direct communication as possible between the participants and the teachers. It will also allow us to work together in re-creating the setting of a real mountaineering expedition as much as possible.
